Cardiograph is a freeware tool that attempts to measure your heart rate using your webcam.

It is an interesting approach to reading your heart rate. It requires you to cover the webcam lens with your index fingertip or thumb, and then wait about 12 seconds and it should show an approximation of your heart rate.

Do not put too much pressure on the webcam lens or it will affect the blood pressure in your finger and affect the reading. Make sure lighting conditions are normal in the room you are attempting to use the app. You must click the heart icon to activate the app and then cover the webcam and wait (typically 12 seconds).
